Dear sssss
Your future is not determined by numerologists or any other kind of fortune tellers. God alone determines your future and you should not believe in anyone else but Him. In fact God hates all forms of divination as it takes away His glory and usurps His prerogative to know the future and reveal it. And He has already given sufficient knowledge for us to live our life well in the Bible. Listen to what the Bible says in the following verses:
Deuteronomy 29:29 - "The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 - "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."
Whatever success a fortune teller has does not come from God. Some of them use their keen observation and common sense to tell what a person's fate is likely to be. Others obtain their knowledge from demons who pretend to be helpful spirits. Satan uses these things to draw people away from God and to trap them in false beliefs.
Sometimes what the fortune teller says becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. This means that person who hears it believes it so much that he becomes like what the fortune teller says. As you mentioned, the words have a haunting effect on the hearer.
Therefore don't believe in numerology or in any other practice which claims to tell your future. Stay away from these things and don't try it out of curiosity. It will only lead you into the world of the occult.
Only God can change your life.
in Christ,

Dear reverend,
There is somethinG i would like to ask u .
Lately as i shared with you , I was transfer back to the monster team .And then i was back with my old collegues. I felt working become miserable. I catch no head or tail what i am doing , as I missed out the classes in Melbourne for the last few week . And I am now called to just continue .
Anyway, There is this collegue of mine who is from the hardware team , Eric ,Zhihua. He went to take up a course in numerology .And then we happen to talk about it during lunchtime. As I had no lunchbuddy . I wish I could go back to Jzzzz team .
Anyway, This friday , zzzzz ll be appraising me again .This caused alot of stress . each day , as I was transfer here, I become rather tensed and stressed . I worried alot that i zzzzz . And I feared alot of thing .so I allowed xxxxx to calculate mine. I took my NRIC and let him count.
I just wondering how right or wrong is numerlogy in christian life?
He said I am destined to face failure in my relationnship and working life .He said my birthday show xxxxx it showed that I am bitchy vixen who love to get involve in people working in my office especially married or engaged man. He also said that it is my retribution that why now I am bullied and dislike by current team .
I cracked my brain and felt uneasy after that . I found I had no fancy over any married guy in my office. But I just allow his words to haunt me. Secondly ,I came to conclude maybe they often teased me about been fat and ugly . So I dont see the possibilities of his predication coming true . But he got it right in regards that my work had not been always successful whereever, I go, i face poeople who attacked me or tricked me.
He got that part right .
Am i too supersitious ? had i lose my faith in God? Why had he say that I love to have relationship with married man in my office? I can only suspect it is because last time, they used to joke me with him when he had a relationship problem .
Anyway He went to numerlogy at zzzzzzzz and he kept pushing me to pay 188 to his teacher and let his teacher to count my number and change my life .He was nearly sacked by zzzzzzzzzzzz as He had a relationship problem and He cant click well with his boss and the rest .But then he cliamed after he seen his shifu ,his life changed for better.
Is Numerlogy wrong?

poison ivy among roses
Help me, Lord, to be discerning and not let others
lead me astray with their falsehood. May the fruit
of my life be an example of a follower of Christ. Amen.
Our yard makes poison ivy happy. I learned this the hard way. Even though I was being careful, I came in contact with the plant and ended up with a nasty, itchy rash.
Poison ivy looks like many harmless plants, and it keeps company with some beautiful ones. One gardener couldn’t figure out why she got poison ivy whenever she pruned her roses. She later discovered that a poison ivy vine was taking advantage of the tender loving care she gave to her rosebush.
Some people are like toxic plants. They look harmless, and they blend in with people who, like roses, are fragrant and beautiful.
Simon the sorcerer fit this description. He followed Philip and was baptized, but then he asked to buy the ability to lay hands on people so they could receive the Holy Spirit. Peter was appalled at his request and urged him to repent (Acts 8:22).
Sometimes people use the favorable environment of a healthy church as a network for selfish purposes. Like poison ivy among roses, they cause much misery. Like Simon, anyone who does this needs to repent, and everyone else needs to avoid contact with such a person. Spiritual look-alikes apSimon the Sorcerer
9Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, 10and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, "This man is the divine power known as the Great Power." 11They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic. 12But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.
14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. 15When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, 16because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into[a] the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money 19and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
20Peter answered: "May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin

Daily reading Today
Corinthians 2
1When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
Wisdom From the Spirit
6We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"[b]—
When the apostle Paul ministered to people, he didn’t try to impress others. In his letter to the Corinthians, he wrote: “When I came to you, [I] did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God” (1 Cor. 2:1). “Excellence of speech” is the translation of Greek words meaning “high-sounding words” or “pompous speech.” This implies using words to exalt self instead of to instruct others. Paul was a brilliant scholar who expressed the deep things of God in Scripture. Yet he did not use lofty language to elevate his self-importance.
As we grow in our understanding of God’s Word, let’s follow Paul’s example and guard against parading knowledge for knowledge’s sake. Instead, let’s use well-chosen words that build up and encourage others

A letter from my reverned
Dear xxxxx,
Thanks for writing to me. It is good to hear that things have improved in your workplace and that God has made a way for you to avoid having to repay your company bond. Now that the situation at work has improved, take this opportunity to start life afresh and rebuild your relationship with God.
Always remember that God has given you 6 days to work and do whatever you want to do. Instead of working on Sunday you ought to come and worship God in church. One reason why you may have lost your weekend job and incurred a debt instead is that you have not put God as the top priority in your life. Matthew 6:33 says "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."
It is displeasing to God to attend church worship just to make new friends or to look for a prospective life partner by dressing up well. God should be the only reason why any Christian should come to church, as the psalmist says, "My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God." (Psalm 84:2) "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple." (Psalm 27:4)
I hope that you can overcome your chronic depression soon and be weaned off taking the medicine by the doctor at IMH. This will help to reduce your financial burden and also stop your weight gain. Learn to trust God more and build your confidence in Him. Deal with your bouts of anxiety by praying and reviewing His precious promises.
It is unfortunate that your father has lost his taxi and with that, his job as well. Try your best to comfort him and show genuine concern for him. Tell him that you will be praying for him to get a better job and one that is stable.
Learn to be forebearing toward your mother instead of quarreling with her. If she nags you about singlehood and your appearance, take it as her way of expressing her love for you. You can't change your mother by reacting against her comments, but you can pray that God will change her from within and enable her to understand you better.
May the Lord draw you closer to Him.
in Christ,
Pastor
